The dine-in experience is especially enjoyable because the setting feels friendly and familiar rather than overly formal. Went for a quick lunch and sat in a booth, across from the bar. The food and prices were great. The service, from the bartender, was good and friendly. The bathroom was actually pretty clean. I had a very good pastrami sandwich with French Fries and my guest had a nice Irish Stew. Would definitely recommend and return.

The chicken wings? Crispy & delicious. The beer? A proper draft of Guinness in a proper etched bottom glass. The pricing? Very decent, even competitive. The vibes? There are none. It's like sitting alone in your grandparents' parlor—comfortable enough, but dull. The exception for that is coming on Paddy's Day after the Southie Parade, then the place is lively. However, note on that day that they'll only have one or two items that the kitchen will offer.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Some of the best staff in Boston. An old school feel with old school service. An absolute MUST.

I get that the roast beef special is kinda the jam here, but my god this was the best tuna melt of my life. And the FRIES. Sweet jesus they're crispy and cooked to perfection I didn't even need ketchup I just devoured them.

Cheap place to drink and they open at 8am. I've eaten the chicken fingers many times and they are very good. They also have full meals on the menu. One of my favorite places to go on a sat. morning.

Good local pub with Irish flavor. Plenty of seating at the bar and several tables on each side. Prices are EXCELLENT on food & food quality good - great , quick “cheap-eats” place. Street parking can be tough but there’s a parking lot across the street.
